Milan design week

Returns to its usual spot in April, having taken place in September in 2021 and June in 2022 due to disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This year, the festival runs from 17 to 23 April 2023.

Milan design week is the biggest annual design event in the world, hosting the largest furniture fair Salone del Mobile.

The furniture fair welcomes more than 370,000 visitors and presents thousands of brands showcasing furniture, lighting, electrical appliances, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor and workspace products.

Salone del Mobile

The largest event taking place at Milan design week is Salone del Mobile, located at Fiera Milano exhibition centre from 18 to 23 April 2023.

ABC FILTER - UPDATING... ◢

‘Illustrating an ABC of objects is a method that invites people living in Milan and all around the world to re-learn how to read them, to dig down into their souls unhindered by trends or brands. The apparently simple request from the Salone del Mobile via Leftloft was to put the spotlight on the objects as the essence of the Salone. My take on it was to come up with a vivid colour combination, disconcerting at times, to delay the immediate focus on the subjects. Essential lines and discreet volumes appear in a dreamlike, shifting atmosphere, dictated by erroneous perspectives and unlikely axonometries,’
